    Produced through the polymerization of lactic acid derivated by the fermentation of corn starch. Characteristics: biodegradability,transparency, rigidity.

    The above mentioned materials could be coupled, in order to improve the tray sealing process and increase the product shelf life, through the coupling of barrier material which reduces the permeability.
